To strengthen Siemens' position as a technology leader, we are looking for a Chief Designer to join our Digital Industries Unit. Siemens is a pioneer in industrial automation and digitalization, making our industry smart and innovative today and tomorrow. We work closely with our sales teams as well as internal and external technical teams. As a team, we work in several locations in Finland.

Main areas of responsibility
- Responsible for the technical implementation of electric utility projects from the sales phase to handover. Projects are mainly AC or DC drive modernizations in an industrial setting.
- Working with subcontractors: demolition/installation, switchgear manufacturing, external design resources.
- Bears strong responsibility in own team for the quality of electrical operation planning and in identifying competence needs.

We expect from you
- Suitable technical education, e.g. Batchelor or Master level degree.
- Experience in planning and implementing electric utility projects.
- Curiosity towards new possibilities and ability to innovate.
- Fluent in Finnish and English.
- Willingness to travel (mostly within Finland) and a driver’s license.
You will work as a part of our service delivery team but are also comfortable working independently. You are willing to explore new and unknown, question our routines, and rethink the existing. Pushing things forward and taking matters into your own hands is exactly your way of doing things.
