Our client is a renowned upmarket steakhouse located in the heart of Doha, known for its exquisite cuisine, elegant ambiance, and attentive service. They take immense pride in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests, offering the finest cuts of meat, a carefully curated wine selection, and an atmosphere that exudes sophistication.
As a Restaurant Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for the esteemed guests, warmly welcoming them and guiding them to their tables. Your friendly demeanor and excellent communication skills will set the tone for their dining journey. During service, you will showcase your knowledge of our menu and make recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon their arrival, creating a positive first impression.
- Assist in making reservations and manage table seating efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide guests with menus and describe the day’s specials in a knowledgeable and enticing manner.
- When needed – assist with taking orders and serve food and beverages promptly and accurately.
- Ensure guests’ needs are met throughout their dining experience, offering assistance and answering any questions they may have.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including resetting tables for the next guest.
- Handle guest feedback and concerns with tact and professionalism, resolving any issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to maintain high service standards and uphold the reputation for excellence.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Hostess in an upscale dining establishment is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests and colleagues effectively.
- Outstanding organizational skills to manage table seating and guest reservations efficiently.
- Ability to multitask and remain composed during busy service hours.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in the hospitality industry.
