Our client is investing in a major technology transformation to harness and enrich our technology capabilities in Data Engineering, Data Science & Artificial Intelligence space, and their commitment to delivery excellence across our engineering function is critical to underpin this.
This is an exciting time to join our client's team on this journey and play a pivotal role in building great solutions for their customers and clients. Reporting into our client's Technology division, this role will be instrumental for the end-to-end delivery of their data product roadmap.

- Owns the conversion of logical data models into creating physical data models.
- Design data models that are optimal for various access patterns
- Ensure data models are catalogued and change management is documented and approved
- Assess the impact on data models resulting from upstream changes or downstream consumption changes
- Be an ambassador for the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP)
- Be an ambassador for good data design principles to best support the end users/applications
- Define data guardrails in the form of data dictionaries and data mappings to be adopted by the enterprise for consistent data definitions
- Guide and collaborate with engineering teams during implementations, ensuring consistency in best practice
- Play an SME consultant role in encouraging best practices in data modelling to the product engineering teams, and recommend improvements to existing models
- Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and priorities for the functional and non-functional aspects of a data product/application
Perfil ideal
- Experience in data modelling techniques - both traditional and modern
- Deep experience in creating enterprise data models using industry-standard toolsets
- Understands how to derive value from trusted data and partners with end-users to elicit and translate requirements into suitable data structures
- Experience in implementing analytics and BI report ecosystem for seamless and secure data consumption
- Understand the benefits of Reference Data Management and Master Data Management - and have been involved in implementation that involved one or both.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
