What kind of work is this?
We’re looking for enthusiastic and motivated Test Engineers to join our HQ in downtown of Oulu. In your work, you will be testing and controlling the quality of the next-generation eyecare software solutions together with a team of dedicated professionals. As a Test Engineer, you would work with modern web technologies and state-of-the-art patient workflow management system. In your work, you will focus especially on testing data-intensive applications such as data management environments or BI APIs and dashboards produced by the Data Engineering team.
Your daily tasks could for example consist of:
- Developing test automation
- Running and maintaining automated test cases
- Manual testing of issues and SW release verification
- Communicating with various key stakeholders

What do you expect from me?
We are looking for Test Engineers for our three different product teams. We have listed below some of the skills we are looking for but don’t worry about the exact match and let us know about your skills.
- Web application testing
- Test case management and issue testing
- Test automation frameworks (preferably Robot Framework & Selenium or Cypress)
- Experience using SQL
- English proficiency, as our official company language is English.
- You don’t need to have a background in healthcare. We offer you the possibility to deepen your knowledge with training held by our in-house eye care professionals.
- A curious mind and will to face challenges. You’re not afraid to experiment and fail, and always want to improve yourself!
Other keywords that you might come across: REST interfaces, JavaScript/HTML, XML, Linux, and MySQL. Knowledge about Business Intelligence tools and Data Validation & Verification is also a big plus.
