The Role
Due to a promotion in the team, an opportunity has arisen for an entry level office assistant to join a leading telecommunications infrastructure and installations company. Working as part of the Drawings team, this role will be part of a team responsible for the production and maintenance of technical documentation and mapping data. You will work collaboratively with all departments to ensure technical drawings are accurate and fit for purpose.
Assist the team in creating documents and drawings for projects
Learn to create accurate computer aided drawings of completed works
Work collaboratively with other departments to collate information and documentation
Maintain all technical and operational documentation
Requirements
The role of Office Assistant is an entry level position which would suit someone with good computer skills and a naturally organised persona. Full training on the software packages and business processes will be provided, so no previous technical experience is required. If you have some exposure to CAD or GIS (mapping) software this could be advantageous, but a willingness to embrace and learn them is more important. Due to the very rural location of the company, it is essential that you have your own transport.
