We are seeking for a talented Test Engineer to join our dynamic team and help ensure the quality of our web applications. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for manual testing as well as writing end-to-end (E2E) tests using Cypress. The ideal candidate should have experience in web application testing, be able to work independently, and be passionate about delivering high-quality software.
Responsibilities
- Conduct manual testing of web applications to identify defects and usability issues
- Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and acceptance criteria
- Develop and maintain E2E tests using Cypress to ensure that the application meets functional requirements and business needs
- Test REST APIs
- Use and configure other automated test tools and services
- Identify and report software defects and work with the development team to resolve issues
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Required
- At least 2 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on web applications
- Working experience with Cypress (or other E2E testing frameworks)
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML and CSS
- Some experience with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Additional (nice to have)
- Experience in testing mobile applications is a significant plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience with frontend frameworks like React
- German (spoken and written)
- Experience in logistics
