ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maxeon is seeking a Production Operator to operate equipment optimally, timely, and effectively in a safe and organized manner to meet output requirements while ensuring that product quality meets required specifications. The Production Operator reports to the Production Supervisor.
Performs a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, or measurement product assembly operations on product components, assemblies, or sub-assemblies.
Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing, welding, and fitting on assembly units.
Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
Adheres to all safety protocols and gowning procedures at all times in the manufacturing facility
Be present at the assigned equipment at least 15 minutes before the start of a shift for pass down to ensure all pertaining information is shared and be ready to take over from the outgoing shift.
Performs shift duties (12 hours day/night shift).
Performs OT as required by the Supervisor on assigned or other shifts and in emergency situations (typhoon/floods/traffic) may be required to work on 24hrs stretch.
Remains on factory floor 100% of the time performing duties, especially if Supervisor is absent, in meetings or on M/C.
Observes break times at 45 minutes on the first break and 30 minutes on the second break and punctuality at work.
Adheres to proper cleanroom protocol.
Operates equipment in accordance with the Operation Instructions.
Performs DWAC to make sure product quality meets specifications.
Ensures equipment is always producing a good quality products in the most effective and efficient manner.
Pulls WIP from the previous station when there is no WIP at the assigned station.
Plans resources proactively (consumables, WIP, tools) in order to meet targets.
Ensures all data logs and reports are accurately and timely prepared.
Instills and maintains good housekeeping habits to achieve World Class Manufacturing Standards.
“Mentors” and helps train new personnel as directed by Supervisor.
Be trained to do non-manufacturing activities (ex. PM) when needed.
Be certified in more than 1 process.
Escalates to Supervisor any operational concerns including but not limited to yield, quality, output, productivity, break policy, break coverage, housekeeping, safety, and discipline violations/issues in a timely manner.
Highlights to Supervisors if or when any activity will impact their ability to perform normal expected duties.
Proactively identifies issues and initiates corrective actions to solve them.
Identifies and highlights to Supervisor any training needs.
Performs real-time MES transactions.
Performs all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Complies at all times with the Environment, Health, and Safety and Manufacturing Quality standards, rules, and regulations.

Vocational or College graduate with good grades in English, Tagalog, Mathematics, and Sciences
